We have two locations! Our Research Library & Museum is located in historic Lafayette and the Yamhill Valley Heritage Center is located just outside McMinnville.  

Driving Directions to the historic Lafayette site: Our address is 605 Market Street, Lafayette, OR 97127.  

From Portland and points north:  

1. Take 99W South from I-5 to the City of Lafayette.
2. Turn right on Market Street and continue to 6th Street.
3. The Yamhill County Historical Museum is on the left side of the street, with the Polling Church on the corner of 6th and Market Streets.

From Salem and points south:  

1. Take 99W North to the City of Lafayette.
2. Turn left on Market Street and follow the directions above.

Driving Directions to the Yamhill Valley Heritage Center site: Our address is 11275 SW Durham Lane, McMinnville, OR 97128. The Heritage Center is located at the corner of SW Durham Lane and Highway 18.

NOTE: The Heritage Center is not currently open regular hours - please contact us about visiting.

From Portland and points north:  

1. Take 99W South through the City of Dundee to Highway 18 West.
2. Turn left (West) onto Highway 18 which will allow you to bypass the cities of Lafayette and McMinnville.
3.  Continue on Highway 18 for approximately 9.5 miles.
4. Turn left onto SW Durham Lane. The Heritage Center is to the right.

From Salem and points south:  

1. Take 99W North toward McMinnville. 
2. After leaving Amity and passing the Bayou Country Club (on your left), turn left on  Durham Lane about 1 miles past the Country Club.
3. Continue on SW Durham Lane to the Heritage Center on your left just before the intersection with Highway 18.
