Farm Fest & Plowing Competition – Saturday, April 12, 2014

Largest gathering of draft horse animals in Oregon at one time!

Experience old-time farming history as 20 teams of draft horses and mules work the ground and compete in a plowing competition. Also enjoy horseshoeing, blacksmith and sawmill demonstrations, along with agricultural and historical displays, kids’ activities, food, music and more! Harvest Fest – Saturday and Sunday, August 16-17, 2014

Learn how farmers harvested their crops in the past as antique farm equipment and draft animals harvest the oat crop. View the blacksmith and sawmill shops in action, tap your toes to old-time music, have the kids participate in “pioneer” activities, view the agricultural & historical displays, tour the museum, enjoy home-cooked food, and enjoy a great day for all ages. Treasures in the Attic Appraisal Faire and Vintage Market 

Saturday September 13 2014

Appraisal fair and vintage market will be held at the Yamhill County Heritage Center Saturday 10am to 4pm. Only one day this year. So  don't miss it.

What's hiding in your attic? Local experts will provide oral appraisals of your items. $5 donation per item with a limit of 3 items per person.

Antique and Collectible Vendors, Quilt Show, Live Music, Treasure Chest Raffle, Food

Free parking and free admission.

Yamhill Valley Heritage Center Highway 18 and Durham Lane, McMinnville 

To be held in early December 2014. Check back for more details.

 

Handmade items of jewelry, scarves, soap, wreaths, gift items, etc.

Be a vendor and sell your items or be a buyer and join in the fun. Santa's walk, silent auction, music, food, Christmas decorations galore.

Proceeds to benefit the Yamhill County Historical Society.

Bring cans of food for donation to the Yamhill County Food Bank.
