Farm Fest & Plowing Competition – Saturday, April 13, 2013

Largest gathering of draft horse animals in Oregon at one time!

Experience old-time farming history as 20 teams of draft horses and mules work the ground and compete in a plowing competition. Also enjoy horseshoeing, blacksmith and sawmill demonstrations, along with agricultural and historical displays, kids’ activities, food, music and more! Harvest Fest – Saturday and Sunday, August 17-18, 2013

Learn how farmers harvested their crops in the past as antique farm equipment and draft animals harvest the oat crop. View the blacksmith and sawmill shops in action, tap your toes to old-time music, have the kids participate in “pioneer” activities, view the agricultural & historical displays, tour the museum, enjoy home-cooked food, and enjoy a great day for all ages.
